Spiritual Research on the Spiritual Life of Bill Gates

In an age where the super rich invest their wealth in various interests such as football teams, vintage aircraft etc., Bill Gates stands apart. He has not only pledged a large percentage of his wealth to charity, but has also stated that after July 2008, he will be devoting all his time to charity work.

There are very few people who are able to walk away from their wealth and also devote their time to help society. It is for this reason the Spiritual Science Research Foundation proceeded to find out through spiritual research, the contributing factors behind this noble act and to find out the spiritual factors that contributed to Bill Gates taking this life path.

Information about some relevant past lives of Bill Gates

Bill Gates has had a rich spiritual background in his past lives. He is a seeker of God following the Spiritual 'Path of Action' (Karmayoga) which is inherently about practicing Spirituality according to the principle 'As one sows, so shall one reap'. The knowledge received also revealed that his faith and his efforts undertaken on this path to God, has made him a philosopher with thought-leadership on the Path of Action.
Through spiritual practice he has acquired a place in the subtle highly evolved plane of existence, the Mahaloka (a region which is more subtle and spiritually progressive than Heaven).
He has done spiritual practice for 20,000 years in the subtle plane of existence called Heaven and for 3000 years in the subtle plane of existence called Mahaloka. This amounts to a total of over 180 million years of effective spiritual practice in Earth years before being born as Bill Gates in this lifetime.

What is the purpose of Bill Gates' birth on Earth?

Bill Gates due to his ample spiritual practice in previous births has already transcended (gone beyond) the attachment to happiness one enjoys in Heaven and has attained Mahaloka, and has taken birth on Earth to ascend (progress) from actual actions of sacrifice to complete renunciation.
By virtue of his merits and spiritual level from previous lives, Bill Gates is destined to lead a life of fame and fortune and hence he has been able to earn so much wealth. As a seeker his spiritual practice is that of offering his wealth for the benefit of others in order to experience renunciation.
As Bill Gates does not have any craving or attachment to wealth, he now has the privilege to experience first hand, the Bliss http://www.spiritualresearchfoundation.org/spiritualresearch/happiness/benefitsofspiritualpractice/experiencingbliss_h.php of giving away wealth and of the resultant renunciation.

Future of Bill Gates' spiritual practice

The wealth acquired by Bill Gates is a result of his pure thoughts and unshakeable faith in the Path of Action.
Giving away his accumulated wealth helps do away the sense of achievement associated with it. Thus he will ascend from the level of sacrifice (giving away), where there is a sense of achievement of wealth, to that of renunciation where even this sense of achievement is overcome. This is his goal. Thus he is close to achieving his objective and is now moving towards renunciation.

Summary:

We often look at our lives from a very myopic viewpoint i.e. we are born, we live and then we die and there is nothing before or after that. However, according to Spiritual science, our life is but a part of a continuum of many lives from our first birth till we finally realise God or until our dissolution. In other words, we all come from God and finally have to go back to God. Every time we are born on Earth, it is an opportunity to make spiritual progress so as to move closer to our final goal i.e. becoming one with God. From the standpoint of spiritual growth, the opportunity to be born on Earth, if used well, can result in our rapid spiritual growth.

By donating the acquired wealth, one is liberated even from the thoughts of achievement and one makes progress faster. Bill Gates is an excellent example of this. He is an example of a great evolving soul.

Philanthrophy - Bill Gates

Some people regard Bill Gates with a lot of venom and he can easily pass as the most hated man in the USA. I would not be surprised if you are one of those who hate him.

Rest assured that you need not hate the guy. He is simply one of the most magnanimous souls that still exist in this world. His foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is responsible for funding charities all over the world upwards of 1.5 billion dollars annually. Just think of that!

The most amazing thing is that Bill Gates recently left his office at the Microsoft and resigned himself to serving the less fortunate members of the society. Can you see the kind of person some people speak of with vitriol? May be it is jealousy and envy perhaps.

Could be you think Microsoft cannot remain untainted. Well, think of the likelihood that there could be even worse corporate in America.

Microsoft and even Bill Gates are quite honorable in the whole world, and that is why people want to be associated with their success story and social responsibilities. Bill Gates himself has become a celebrated name in the world of high achievers who started from zero.

Some think they are humble and modest, with nothing to flaunt to the world. They are satisfied to remain small.

Bill Gates knew there was no virtue in remaining poor and small, so he did everything possible to become a blessing to the world. Ask yourself what you are doing to impact the society in general.

Bill Gates decided to play a vital role to help the whole world and is why his activities are in the area of AIDS research and even funding projects to reduce hunger from the face of the earth. That is why he is world renowned.

Stop seeing the super rich as the evil, selfish and greedy. Try to understand that before you can start helping other people, you must help yourself first. Learn to take before you can begin to give; and that if your attitude is to remain small in order to be seen by the society as a good person, you are really mistaken.

Bill Gates - Being a Giver

It would look like Bill Gates is the most loathed man in the USA, and may be you too share the same feelings.

You have no reason to. This man is among the most philanthropic men to be found on the face of the planet today. With his foundation called the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, he donates more than 1.5 billion dollars each year to the charity. Just pause for a moment and think of this figure, wow!

Remember Bill Gates just tendered his resignation to Microsoft to spend all his time with the Foundation and to give his whole life to the charitable work. This is the kind of guy most would still talk about as an asshole. It must be a case of sour grapes; the unsuccessful people having a negative attitude about Bill Gates.

Now you must be wondering if Microsoft is totally unblemished. May be not, but there are likely to be more evil corporate in America.

Generally, Microsoft is respectable and Bill Gates too, and that is why we celebrate his success, achievements and social activities. He has become a role model to many of how one can climb to great wealth from the scratch.

The bottom line is that one must be a taker before he can become a giver or else there would be nothing to give out. There is no virtue in trying to remain small in order to appear humble.

Maybe Bill Gates had an idea about this and so he tried hard to turn himself into a person who had the capacity to make an impact in the world. If you are just sitting there wondering what your meager savings can do, what about asking yourself what you are doing to make your society better?

What Bill Gates is doing to help the world is huge, ranging from the AIDS research funding, alleviating hunger in the world, and just trying his best to be an excellent person internationally.

There is a wrong attitude in some who tend to think that those who are successful and wealthy are very evil, greedy and selfish people. Such an attitude should be purged from our midst because how will anyone ever aspire to become wealthy if he thinks all the rich people are just evil? It means in his mind he is the good person and so he should just remain poor.

Whoops! Another New Year Resolution Broken - I Contact Warren Buffett and Bill Gates

I only made one New Year resolution for 2007. Here it is: I will not leave dirty dishes in the sink, pans on the stove, flour on the kitchen counter top, or any other such mess. I decided if I made only one resolution I might be able to keep it.

When I was about to retire I got this message from my wife: When you retire, I'm retiring from cooking. You will be the cook.

She wasn't kidding!

Actually, my wife is a vegetarian except for cheese which she eats whenever the possibility arises. She mainly lives on fruit and cereal. So I usually, but not always, cook for myself.

My diet is Omaha Steaks® and other good things the good folks in Omaha send me. A sweet lady calls me, tells me about the special, and I always order. I'll bet Warren Buffett is an Omaha Steak® man. Why wouldn't he be? He is richer than every one but you know who.

You can glean the following information as I did by going to: http://www.reference.com/search?q=Warren%20Buffett

Warren Edward Buffett was born in 1830 so he is 2-years older than me. With the business secret he gave me, I hope to catch up with him financially within two years. Of course, then he will be still richer and I'll have to keep working.

Buffett studied at the Wharton School of Finance (1947-49). That is why he is smarter than you and me about money.

He worked as an investment salesman and securities analyst and he was partner (1956-69) in the investment firm Buffett Partnership, Ltd. In 1965, he acquired the textile manufacturer Berkshire Hathaway and became (1970) chairman and CEO. So now you know how his company got its name. Not original like Make More Dough Than Anybody Else, Inc.

Through judicious investments and acquisitions of insurance companies and manufacturing and service firms, Buffett has transformed Berkshire Hathaway into a large conglomerate; in 1999, its assets were $124 billion. They're higher today. Look it up!

His investments have also made him one of the wealthiest people in the world. In 2006 he announced that he would donate the vast majority of his wealth to charity, with some $30 billion, the largest gift, ultimately going to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation--who already have zillions!

His father, Howard Homan Buffett, 1903-64, an investment banker, was a U.S. congressman from Nebraska (1943-49, 1951-53), so Warren had a good start on the rest of us.

And he and Bill Gates are buddies. They travel around the world together.

Boy, would I like to be part of that crowd!

Anyway, to make sure I have great New Year Resolutions for 2008, I decided to get some ideas from Warren Buffett. I called Omaha and they put me through to a McDonald's® Restaurant.

Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia gives the following report on McDonald's®, Inc.

"McDonald's Corporation is the world's largest fast food chain, selling primarily hamburgers, chicken, french fries and carbonated drinks, and more recently salads, fruit and carrot sticks. The business was founded in 1940 with a restaurant opened by siblings Dick and Mac McDonald. It was their introduction of the "Speedee Service System" in 1948 that established the principles of the fast-food restaurant. However, the company today dates its "founding" to the opening of CEO Ray Kroc's first franchised restaurant, the company's ninth, in 1955. He opened his first McDonald's in Des Plaines, Illinois in April 1955."

Making money in the Midwest must be catching.

A young female voice came on the line and I said, "Is Mr. Buffett there? I would like to talk to him.

She said, "Yeh! He's over there munching a Big Mac®. He's with Bill Gates who's chawing on a carrot stick. I'll call him: WARREN!

An older voice came on and said, "Ill buy it!"

I said, "Mr. Buffett?"

He said, "Yes. Who are you? I though you were from Amalgamated Big Butt Conglomerated, Corporation."

I said, "No. I'm just a hack writer trying to get a story. I was hoping you would give me a suggestion for a 2008 New Year's resolution. I was hoping to get one from Bill Gates too."

He said, "Okay. Here's one: Keep your nose out of other people's business unless you intend to buy it."

He laughed.

I said, "That was very good. How about Bill Gates?"

He said, "Well, you don't have enough dough to buy Bill's business."

He laughed again and hung up the telephone.

So there you are. The secret for getting rich is yours. Just stick your nose into other people's business and if it looks profitable, buy it.

It's so simple.

Wait, the telephone is ringing.

I'm back!

That sweet thing from Omaha Steaks® just sold me the latest special. I asked her if she was moonlighting at McDonalds® because that voice sounded very familiar when I called McDonalds®.

She said she was but just to glean secrets from Warren Buffett. She asked me if I wanted to sell TJ Books.

I've got to go clean out the freezer in the garage.

Those steaks will be here before I know it!

THE END

Bill Gates' Vision of Future Computing - Natural User Interfaces

After 33 years of fast paced career Microsoft Chairman and Founder Bill Gates has finally retired from his position at Microsoft to devote his time into social activities and promoting other technologies which can help human-beings in future generations. At his farewell speech Gates reflected his long time passion; the human touch interfaces which he believes will change the way we use computers today. According to him, anything from tablet PCs to handwriting recognition to touch screen table computers will recognize and analyze human touch and process the data accordingly.

Microsoft is betting highly on this natural user interfaces. This is something Microsoft and Bill Gates will invest in future years after his retirement besides working for Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Gates had a well planned departure from the most exciting post ever in this industry. He gave up his post as CEO to Stave Ballmer in 2000 and three years ago decided to step back from the post of Chairman too.

Gates is not planning for an overall departure from MSFT but will focus only on few aspects of companies business which involves natural user interfaces and related activities. The 30-inch large Surface tabletop computer used in Gates office is now probably going to shift in Ballmer's office which shows where the computers are going. This high - tech interactive touch screen tables are generally used to display maps and order food are used only in AT&T phone stores and Harrah's Rio hotel in Las Vegas

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has expected surface computing as multi billion dollar business as they have invested heavily in its Research and development process to bring in high quality and effective devices that will recognize any human touch and respond accordingly. With aggressive competition from companies like Apple and Google, Microsoft has geared its belt tight against the innovative products from this company in the post Gates era which was completely over showed by the companies like Apple and Google.

To break into the market of internet enabled devices and gadgets, Microsoft have decided to achieve its past success by bringing in more innovative products and designer apps which can give Apple and Google a run for their money.

Though Microsoft has seen the future of Keyboard and mouse as alternate input device for the computer system but they have expressed their interest in human voice and hand touch as major input methods in future generation computers which can seamlessly be integrated with many other devices like mobile phones, X-box, PDAs and many other hand-held devices.

Ten Things You Can Learn From Bill Gates' Graduation Speech

You may be asked to deliver a graduation speech this spring. One great example of a graduation speech that you should read is Bill Gates' graduation speech at Harvard. The full speech can be viewed on You-tube if you're interested.

There are ten things that any public speaker can learn from Bill Gates graduation speech that I will highlight.

A graduation speech is a formal affair. Subsequently you should use a formal introduction like Bill Gates. He introduced the President and other important people in a way that sounds almost old-English.
Bill Gates opened the speech with a bang. He made the audience laugh even though the rest of the speech was actually serious. He made fun of himself which is an effective tool because there may be some people envious of him in the audience. Thus, he brought himself down to earth by making fun of himself.
The speech had a consistent core message. The speech is largely about the gap between the rich and the poor. The disease and poverty that afflicts much of the world and what young people can do to stop it is the main message of the speech. Bill Gates does not stray from the core which creates clarity.
Bill Gates uses a conversational matter of fact style.
The speech is personal. Bill Gates talks about his life experiences, not the experiences of a faceless corporation like Microsoft. He makes himself more humane by adding so many personal vignettes.
He uses enthusiasm to inspire the audience. "Think of the thrill of saving just one person's life - then multiply that by millions...." Enthusiasm is perhaps the most important tool of a good public speaker.
He talks about his personal experiences with his foundation that is trying to rid the world of certain diseases in Africa.
The speech is not just feel good catch phrases. He uses facts to convince the audience of the problem.
The speech is forceful but not "preachy." In fact, he talks about some of his own failings.
The speech has a memorable closer with a specific call to action. The audience may be asking themselves - "so what can I do to solve inequity in the world?" He gives the audience a road map for solving the problem.

These are ten things that you can learn and use in your next graduation speech.

Bill Gates

Bill Gates, the co-founder and chairman of the Microsoft Corporation, has certainly reached legend status and not only because he is considered as the world's richest man. As the moving force behind a company that is considered "The Most Innovative Company Operating in the U.S." (1993, Forbes magazines), Gates is certainly in a league of his own. With Gates at the helm, Microsoft launched a number of revolutionary technological advancements that have changed the face of the computer industry and the way people around the world use computers.

History has acknowledged Microsoft's great contributions and has judged Mircrosoft to be the first truly dominant player in home computer operating systems. Even today, Microsoft's influence is felt around the world through the broad usage of Microsoft Windows, currently the most widely used operating system in the world.

Gates first made his mark as is widely regarded as the prime mover and innovator behind the Microsoft Corporation from the time it was founded in 1975 until 2006. As the man responsible for product strategy, Gates greatly expanded Microsoft's product lines and established as well as defended the leadership position in many of its key areas of operation. Gates has not been perfect as some of his decisions have led to antitrust litigation over Microsoft's business practices. But his reputation as one of the most popular and respected entrepreneurs of the personal computer revolution is unquestioned. Gates is actually one of those men who is larger than his area of expertise. To illustrate this point, New Statesman magazine voted Gates as number eight among the "Heroes of Our Time."

Of late, Gates has been delegating many of his key functions in Microsoft. He announced last June that he would be naming someone else as the head of operations of Microsoft by July 2008 although he did say that he will still sit as the company's chairman and as an advisor on special projects. Sources say that the leading candidate to succeed Gates as operations hear is Ray Ozzie, former president of the Groove company, which Microsoft purchased in 2005.

His latest focus has been in the area of philanthropy through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Some sources in the press estimate that Gates has probably contributed over half his fortune to charity.

The 5 Wealth Secrets That Made Bill Gates Very Rich and Successful

Bill Gates is easily one of the richest homo sapient walking on planet earth. How did he make it? This short article gives you the 5 Wealth Secrets that made Bill very rich and successful; and which you can adopt, adapt or modify to become rich and successful too. Please read on!

1. He started early.

Born in 1955, Bill's first contact with the computer was in 1968, at the tender age of 13. At a very young age, he became interested in computer software and programming, and used his school's computer to practice because computers were still very expensive to own. His interest and enthusiasm for programming was uncommon. It was passionate.

2. He was Passionate and Committed.

Bill was very passionate about computer software and programming. Thus, as a student at Lakeside Prep School, he spent his days and nights designing and writing computer programs. Accordingly, this took a heavy toll on his academic performance, as classes were skipped and homework left undone.

At the Computer Centre Corporation, Bill and his friends crashed the system several times and even sabotaged the security system, all in their passionate quest to acquire new computer skills. But when they hacked into and altered the algorithm that recorded computer usage time, they were promptly banned for several weeks!

3. He quickly became his own Boss.

Bill Gates started his university education at Harvard in 1973, but had to drop out in 1975 to take care of Business: with his friend Paul Allen, he setup Microsoft Corporation in 1975.

Obviously, he dropped out of Harvard, not for lack of capacity or capability for higher education, but because his heart was not in his studies. Bill was so committed to his DREAM that he refused to be distracted even by the allure of formal education at the prestigious Harvard University!

4. He added great VALUE and was greatly rewarded.

While still at school, Bill and three of his colleagues setup a team called the Lakeside Programmers, on which platform they struck a deal with Computer Centre Corporation. The team reviewed computer programs to identified bugs and other problems. For this they were allowed unlimited computer usage time at the Centre. Hear him: "It was when we got free time at the Computer Centre that we really got into computers..."

Next, the Lakeside Programmers were hired by Information Science Incorporated to create a payroll program. For this they again got free computer time as well as royalties from sales of the software.

And for Traf-O-Data, Bill and his friend Allen created a software that helps measure traffic flow. This earned them about $20,000.

Under Microsoft Corporation, Bill gave the world the computer operating system software called WINDOWS. Put conservatively, WINDOWS runs in over sixty percent of all computers on planet earth! Bill gave the world great products and services, and was greatly rewarded.

5. He generously gave back to Humanity.

Through his published books, Bill continues to increase Knowledge and bless the World by sharing his Wisdom and Ideas; through his Products and Services, he continues to add Value to our lives; and through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, he continues to give his Money away to bless and uplift Humanity. What a great way to serve God and Man; and what else is the Purpose of Life, after all?

Bill Gates will be remembered, not for what he took out of the world for himself, but for what he gave to the world of himself. And for being such a beautiful inspiration to our Youths, we say: Thank you Bill!

Bill Gates's Background

William Henry Gates the Third is also known as Bill Gates and he is the co-founder of the huge Microsoft corporation. This billionaire was born in Seattle on the 28th of October 1955, being the son of a well-known lawyer, William Henry Gates Senior and a professor and businesswoman, Mary Maxwell Gates.

It is well-known that Bill gates is the richest man in the entire world, the situation being the same for a few years now. This is even more significant since the difference between him and his followers being significant. However, he made some comments during a conference he held in Lisbon, stirring at least one round of acid commentaries. According to Bill Gates, the American IRS needs a special computer to store exclusively the data related to his family's fortune. It appears that the numbers his fortune has reached are too big for an ordinary computer like the ones the IRS uses. Also, this lack of technological possibilities has brought him in front of the court a few times, being accused of not paying his taxes, although he was never in the red. The whole mess was passed on to the computers used, this magnate's fortune approaching the sum of fifty-one billion dollars.

He may be the world's richest man, but he never forgets where he started from. Thus, the founder of Microsoft donated forty million dollars to Lakeside School in Seattle. This is a private administration school, one which uses the magnate's money to create scholarships for the ones who want to study in this institution. This school in Seattle was founded in 1914, being renowned as one of the best educational institutes in the United States of America.

In fact, Paul Allen also donated twenty million dollars to Lakeside School. In his speech, Gates emphasized the fact that this school had never existed without the help it got from Microsoft, the money being donated from the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation. There is nothing new about the fact that the magnate is fond of Seattle as he agreed to organize an exhibit which presented Codex Leicester in 2003. This was a collection of manuscripts belonging to Leonardo da Vinci, a collection Bill Gates bought in 1994.

Bill Gates and Microsoft Corporation released the first version of the Windows operating system in 1985. He released the Microsoft Office in 1989, this being the most popular series of office applications. Microsoft became a public company in 1986, being launched on the stock market. 2000 was the year when Bill and his wife founded their foundation, which was called Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The year 2005 brought Bill Gates the title of Knight of the British Empire, a title which he was given by the Queen of England. He announced his retirement from Microsoft on the 15th of June 2006, his retirement month being July 2008.

Bill Gates is still one of the most influential people in the world, his success inspiring millions of other people working in his domain and not only.

Success Strategy of Bill Gates As Small Business Entrepreneur For Your Own Home Business

Introduction

Strategies are strategies. Dismiss for a moment from your mind what some people are saying about Bill Gates's offensive practices he used to transform himself from a small business entrepreneur to a titan in the business world. There are yet honest-to-goodness strategies we can glean from his sleeves. We can study, learn from them and possibly apply them in our own home based business. Upon this premise that this article was written.

Strategy of Bill Gates - Have a Vision

At the outset, I will lay down the results of my research on one secret strategy of Bill Gates. He used the same strategy to jump-start his small business to today's business behemoth. Based on my research, the strategy of Bill Gates is grounded upon the following:

"Have a VISION of what you want to achieve
and hold on to that vision come wrath or
high water."

His vision was:

"A Personal Computer on every desk."

By the way, I didn't want to use the grammatically correct expression "come hell or high water" - for personal reason - so excuse my grammatical preference. Anyway, let's go back to our subject. When you have a vision, you can make the impossible possible.

Almost everybody is familiar about how once upon a time the small business entrepreneur Bill Gates secured mighty IBM's contract to supply the latter's operating system. When he was negotiating with the IBM people, he had no operating system as yet. He was able to buy a Disk Operating System or DOS for $50 thousand. In the end, he got the contract. Why?

Bill Gates was guided by his vision - that every desk all over the world should have a computer on it. This vision enabled him to provide IBM with a DOS operating system and have control over it including to whom he wanted it sold to.

Beginning Entrepreneur

Before he became an entrepreneur, Bill Gates had nurtured the vision that software will one day rule the world. During high school he spent many late nights with friend Paul Allen tinkering with the school's computer system.

He dropped out of college after completing his junior year at Harvard. Instead, he and his bosom friend Paul Allen set up a small business - a software company - in far away New Mexico. This move was in accordance with his vision.

His vision became clearer as he moved from a total newbie to one with a small business to keep. His vision was clothed in clearer terms, as he negotiated the DOS deal with IBM.

Better late than never

Bill Gates's company ultimately became the leader in the software arena. During the first half of the 1990's - 1993 to be exact - he was among the last of the software titans to acknowledge the future significance of the Internet.

But once he did realize that indeed Internet was the wave of the future, he had the tenacity to reshape his vision. His vision retained its old flavor - that is, software dominance in commerce, industry and in every field. It was rehashed in his own words as follows:

"In the years ahead, the Internet will have
an even more profound effect on the way
we work, live and learn ... this technology
will be one of the key cultural and economic
forces of the early 21st century."

At this moment in time, Bill Gates is guided by the vision that the Internet is the wave of the present and the foreseeable future.

Lessons Learned

You can learn from Bill Gates by having your own vision for your small business. Lay down this vision in your mind. Then put it into writing. Read your vision everyday while at work in your small corner of the house. Your vision could be as short-term as the following:

"To make my web site land within the top five of
Google when people search for the keywords
'home based business,'" or

"$200,000 earning this year from Google

Adsense,"or

"To enrich the content of my web site using
the theme 'scrap book making.'"

Do not limit yourself to short-term vision. Aim for the long-term. A five to ten years period would suffice. Technology may change but your vision will essentially be the same. You may refine it if deemed necessary, like incorporating the effect of technological changes - as Bill Gates did.

Your Share of the Pie

Everybody - from Bill Gates down to your netpreneur friend - has recognized the tremendous role of the Internet in business developments. Some of the more immediate pressing concerns you should consider at this stage concerning your home based business are the following:

- General preference for digital transactions by clients. For example, as a beginning Internet entrepreneur you should meet your clients' demands who favor the use of online payment system.

At this juncture, I would like to refer you to my web site at http://www.InternetMarketingLearningCenter.com which offers free learning stuff on Internet marketing and home based business. One category being tackled in the web site is the online payment system. You may read online news and keep yourself abreast of the best software companion for your small business.

- Choose products that are preferred by people at this time when the Internet is dominating people's lives. It has been determined that information products and web shopping are favored by most consumers. Information products include your very own ebooks and "how-to" manuals.

- Make it your aim that your products are cheap, very useful, and the best among the rest of competing products. This applies most especially to shopping products. For your own digital products, you have the advantage of pricing them according to your own estimation.

You as the author of your own digital product determines the price level. It is no wonder why gurus like Jay Abraham, Jim Daniels and the late Corey Rudl have become so wealthy from selling their own digital pieces.

As for these three gurus, they will be among the titans that we will tackle in future issues of this series.

Showing Up For Life by Bill Gates Sr - Book Review

Showing Up For Life by Bill Gates Sr., father of the Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is a heartfelt and very personal book by someone who has seen it all and experienced more than many of us have. It's a book dedicated to all people who have been doing their job for the betterment of life, helping mankind, or just on a journey to finding themselves and their purpose.

Showing Up For Life is an amazing journey of one man through different circumstances which taught him life's hardest lessons. The 83-year old Bill Gates Sr. has truly experienced it all, and it's amazing how he's still working now, still enjoying what he does, and still inspiring other people about the causes and organizations he's committed to.

The book also includes his experiences about working with two of the greatest icons Jimmy Carter and Nelson Mandela, and the lessons he learned about hard work, and much more. I'm sure this will be a great read for those people who are still looking for the right inspiration to hit them, or for those who appreciate reading about someone else's adventures, and ups and downs for over four decades.

It's no wonder how Bill Gates has become so successful in his endeavors with computers and co-founding Microsoft, with a father like Bill Gates Sr. to guide him in the right direction. Showing Up For Life is definitely a great read from a prominent lawyer, a very influential person, a philanthropist, and the co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
